Code of Conduct for Students
Discipline Guidelines
- Students must report to school on time and be present at least 10 minutes before the first bell.
- Discipline, respect for teachers, staff, and fellow students are integral to school life.
- Students must attend all classes regularly and remain in the classroom during class hours.
- Wandering in corridors, playgrounds, or campus areas during class hours is strictly prohibited.
- Respect for school property is mandatory; any damage to furniture, equipment, or infrastructure will be viewed seriously.
- Ragging, bullying, violence, or use of abusive language is strictly prohibited inside and outside the school premises.
- Students must actively participate in academic, co-curricular, and school-mandated activities.
Uniform Rules
- Wearing the prescribed school uniform on all working days is compulsory.
- Uniforms must be clean, neatly pressed, and worn with proper shoes and socks.
- Hair and personal grooming must be maintained as per school guidelines.
- Girls: Neatly braided hair with ribbons; no fancy hairstyles or cosmetics.
- Boys: Neatly groomed hair; trendy or non-approved hairstyles are not permitted.
- Students without proper uniform, shoes, or identity card will not be permitted to attend classes.
- Jewellery, ornaments, tattoos (temporary or permanent), and fashionable accessories are strictly prohibited.
Attendance Rules
- Regular attendance is mandatory for academic progress and promotion.
- 100% attendance is expected for all tests, examinations, and school programmes.
- Leave applications must be submitted in advance, except in cases of medical emergencies.
- Medical certificates must be produced for prolonged or medical leave.
- Leave during examinations and assessments is strongly discouraged.
- Latecomers will not be allowed to attend the first period.
Language Policy
- English is the compulsory language of communication within the school campus.
- Students are expected to converse in English during class hours and school activities to enhance language proficiency.
- Speaking in vernacular languages within the campus is discouraged and may invite corrective measures.
